At the end of the experience you will feel rewarded for making grow a Nightshade Flower over and over, till the end of times... or Until you find the credits. The credits are Super Hidden and finding em is the only way to know that you've actually finished the game. Unless you've entered a cheat and obtained the credits for free... You Horrible CHEATER.

And... Above Everything Else, or shall I say Down Below, never, and I say NEVER trust in every description you read ヽ(^Д^)ノ

But before you can actually get into the Gameplay....

There's one little, insignificant, really minor thing that you have to be aware of: BUGS

Bugs have taken over and crashed the Game. So you need to do some repairs before you can actually play it.

I want to add that this is not, and I really mean It, this is NOT by any chance an .EXE Game and it's not intended to be and .EXE Game, but it can turn out into an .EXE Game at any time. She'll make you to turn it into an ".EXE Game".

You need to be strong...

You don't have to poke her....

You will..,

Turn it into an ".EXE GAME"

:P You are awesome EightBlackey :D - i love your games (and your Aniliade 3D model XD) - Here's my video and a screenshot about Nightshade 2.5D

(-1)

Thank you so much I really appreciate the feeling!!! I love your videos, keep doing more of them ;3 and Nice Screenshot

That game's art style, like the game's character Elaine, looks like Pop'n Music's art style!

It wasn't inspired by that Game, but thanks for pointing it out ;D

One thing I noticed with the new version is that the arms don't slowly move away from my mouse when I pick them up, I guess that was a bug, but I thought it was a feature in the game jam version. It kind of makes that last section a bit too easy now...

As a matter of fact it wasn't a bug, it was intended to be that way to make that part harder. The thing is that so many players got frustrated (Specially when they were playing on Laptops) and gave up on the second play through (or even on the first one) not being able to achieve the second ending or in the worst case no endings at all.

So after  giving it a little bit of a thought... Ive decided to make that part easier so the players don't get so easily frustrated and they could be able to unveil most of this version's secrets.

(shudder) I didn't think anything had changed, and I just assumed that the screenshots were just misleading, but no, I was wrong. Oh so very wrong.

2 spooky 4 me

Now All the screenshots are actual Gameplay...

Wow! Also, this was great, making it more of a full game thingy. Great Job! Though I am sad that the previous amazing cheat code is no longer in the game :(.

That previous code is not currently available in this version, but.... It will in a not so distant future with a different yet cooler effect.

Btw have you tried poking her 40 times or so?

Poking 3d nightshade? I definitely clicked around that with 2d nightshade.

is this based off undertale? cuz the evil face looks like flowey's face

This game has some inspiration from Undertale and it may contain some unintentionally placed references of it (or maybe they are intentionally placed in order for you to find em) ^(8)^

uhm... how do you enter the cheat code...

I can't seem to figure it out, great game though! I can't wait to see more of your work!

Thank you so much for playing. Im really glad that you enjoyed the game!!!

For the cheat code to work, you have to type it after her dialogues in order to activate it ;D

Oh, I tried that but it didn't seem to work, is the cheat code the text after CheatCodes in the text file name?

Mmmm... How weird, yet interesting behaviour. Have you tried to input the code when there's no text box in the screen after her first request?

The cheat code should begin to display on the top left corner of the screen when you input the second letter of the word, that way you should know that it's working.

Btw, the cheat code is the four lettered word that makes a reference to a specific typographic cousin of the seriff that appears before the - Effect inside the text file.

Hope that helps, or at least makes a little bit of sense -(8)-

Well I inputed the code and it was very helpful

ฅ/ᐠ。ᆽ。ᐟ \ ~ Hello ~

I tried the game out, and I thought the overarching plot was pretty clever. While the game mechanics were simple, I thought it worked well for what the game truly was about.

One of the things I found quite interesting was the interactions with the girl and her reactions about it. It's a really good attention to detail, and I was even surprised by the fact it played an important role to the story. Overall, I loved the 4th wall breaking and the fact that you put the time to make multiple endings. The only complaint I really have would be the odd sentence structures, but it wasn't anything too bad as things were still understandable.

Overall, great job on the game!(And nice references)

Thank you so much!!!

Im really glad that you made a full playthrough with both endings.  That's wonderful!!!

Also, I like the fact that you voiced her. It really gave her personality :3

For the odd sentence structures...  I'll try to improve them in the future ;D

Thanks again .^(8)^.

Great game, can't stop poking her face. Really cute!

The Supreme Boss fight is intense! Had fun while it lasted!

Sans would be really proud to hear that ;D
